Information We Collect

• Child Information: We store the name and date of birth for each child profile you create. This is used to personalize the application for you.
• Medication and Log Data: We store details about medications (name, dosage, intervals) and all log entries you create, including medication doses, temperature readings, and notes. This is the core functionality of the app.
• User Account Information: We use Firebase Anonymous Authentication to create a unique user ID for you. This ID is used to securely store and retrieve your data from our database. We do not collect or store personal identifiers like your email address or real name.

How We Use Your Information

• To provide, operate, and maintain the Little Dose Keeper application.
• To securely store your data so you can access it across sessions.
• To enable the data sharing feature, which allows you to share a child's logs with another person using a unique code.

Analytics and Usage Data

• To help improve the app, we use Google Analytics for Firebase to collect anonymous, aggregated usage statistics.
• This includes data like the number of active users, how many children and logs are created, and which features are used most often.
• This data is completely anonymous and cannot be used to identify you or your children. We do not track the content of your logs or notes.

Data Storage and Security

• All data you enter is stored securely in Google Firebase's Firestore database.
• Access to your data is protected by Firebase Security Rules. Only you, as the authenticated user, can read and write your own data.
• When you view a shared profile, that child's data is stored temporarily on your local device and is not merged with your own account's cloud data.

Data Sharing

• The app provides a feature to generate a unique, 6-character code to share a child's logs.
• Anyone with this code can view and add to that specific child's logs. The code grants them full edit access. Be careful with whom you share this code.
• We do not share your data with any third-party services for marketing or advertising purposes.
